The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate has become the latest addition to the award winning Bespoke Hotels collection. This secluded retreat set in forty three acres of beautiful Victorian parkland, yet less than two miles from glorious sandy beaches, is home to a new luxury hotel with two restaurants, the indulgent Clearing Spa, fitness facilities and twenty two luxury woodland homes for sale and holiday rental.

The Cornwall Hotel and Spa offers sixty five bedrooms, including nine bedrooms and suites full of Victorian character and restored original features within the original nineteenth century Manor House. These are complemented by fifty-six “Woodland Rooms” all with a particularly generous private balcony in a contemporary and stylish new build that is remarkably in keeping with the original house and surroundings.

All have panoramic views over the stunning Victorian walled gardens, ancient woodland, parkland, pastures and lakes. The Manor House and woodlands are steeped in a history of treasures, and follow tales of intrigue, family history and is also the home of the discovery of the famous Trewiddle Hoard including the find of the exceptional Silver Chalice now housed in The British Museum.

The Arboretum, the fine dining restaurant overlooking the Parkland Terrace, croquet lawn and sweeping Estate, will be a welcome culinary treat for residents and locals alike. The conservation of the Estate is the guiding principle behind the development and 1,400 trees are being added to the abundance of mature specimen trees to complement the existing woodlands, flora and fauna.

The Hotel’s Brasserie Acorns is fantastic for families with a more informal menu serving local, organic and delicious food in a lively atmosphere. The main Manor House can also accommodate parties, weddings, meetings and private dining.

The luxury offering continues with the relaxing Clearing Spa using a sensuous range of Aromatherapy Associates and The Refinery products. Signature treatments are tailored to each individuals need for rejuvenation and restoration. The Clearing Spa is housed in the converted nineteenth Century stables adjacent to the beautiful walled garden and is a luxurious home to its five treatment rooms, facial mapping and manicure treatments.

The spectacular infinity-edged pool has retractable glass walls which open up onto the stunning sub-tropical walled garden, (the pool water treatment is UV and not chemical). Alternatively, after ones exaltations in the state of the art gymnasium with personal trainers, sauna, steam room and drench showers and tennis courts, guests can refresh in the juice bar or chill in any of the relaxation areas.

The idyllic Porthpean Beach is less than 2 miles away and within its lovely cove guests can canoe, kayak, sail, snorkel or try their hand at coasteering, archery, mountain biking and so many other activities.
